With more than $9 Million in NCHA Lifetime Earnings-Austin is currently 4th in the standings of all time leading riders in the NCHA.

Austin Shepard Cutting Horses is based in Summerdale, AL, where Austin and his wife Stacy conduct their business out of their own ranch affectionately named The Circle S.  Austin has learned from many great trainers over the years of which include his father and Hall Of Fame Rider and Member Sam Shepard.  Other influences include Bill Riddle, Paul Hansma, Ronnie Rice, and Pat Earnheart.  He has gone on to be one of the top riders and trainers in the cutting horse industry amassing over 6.2 million dollars in lifetime earnings.  Austin has trained some of the most elite cutting horses of this time including: Highbrow CD, Bet Hesa Cat, Bamacat, Some Kinda Highbrow, Widows Intentions, and Widows Freckles.  He has been an NCHA Open Futurity Champion and NCHA Open World Champion.  Austin rode Thomas E Hughes, Bet Hesa Cat, and Bamacat to claim the title of World Champion Stallion. 
 There are many more championships and accomplishments that can be listed but needless to say he is truly one of the all-time greats.  He, his wife Stacy, son Cade, and daughter Caylee all ride and show cutting horses.  Cade has made his mark the past couple of years as he has been a force to be reckoned with in the Non Pro and Limited Non Pro aged events.  It seems the talent and love of the sport runs in the family!  The Circle S consistently produces champions while being a laid back fun environment, making it a great place to send your horses and get started in the industry.
