Studerin, lovingly known in our barn as Elmo (that is what happens when you have 3 little girls that name all the horses LOL).  Elmo is a 2024 sorrel stallion that currently stands just short of 13.3hh.
Elmo is an outstanding young prospect.  He has the disposition, trainability, confirmation and pedigree to excel in many different disciplines.

Elmo is by the great sire Smooth Talkin Style, LTE $305,284 and PE +9.3 million, NCHA Open Horse of the Year, NCHA Open Futurity Reserve Champion and NCHA Open Super Stakes Co. Champion.
He’s out of Rose Betal, NCHA money earner and daughter of Bet Hesa Cat, LTE $272,151 and PE +11.3 million, the #5 All Time Leading Sire. Out of Twistin Alittle, LTE $130,492.

Elmo was unstarted when we got him in March.  We started his training, moved to the flag and cattle soon after.  Elmo is very easy to train and be around.  He is a fast learner and very willing.  He has a lot of cow sense and try.

We have also started Elmo on the roping dummy.  He took to tracking and roping without any problems.  He handled the obstacle course with the ease of an older horse.  Elmo also rides outside like a horse much older than he is.

Studerin is eligible for the following incentives:  6666 Incentive, Abilene Spectacular, Augusta Futurity Stallion Stakes, Breeders Invitational, Chrome Cash, Gold Buckle Futurities, NCHA Stallion Foal, NRCHA Cow Horse Incentive, Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association Stakes, Riata Buckle, Royal Crown Roping, Southern Cutting Futurity.

If you’re looking for an outstanding prospect that could go in so many different directions, check out Elmo’s video.  Elmo sells 100% sound mentally and physically.  Radiographs upon request.  If you prefer to have Elmo as your next supreme gelding, we can have him castrated before transport.  Give us a call, we would love to visit more about Elmo or set up a time to come meet him.
God Bless
