Rusty has been roped off of (heading) in the arena and in the pasture. He is also trained to run barrels Trained by Ty Mitchell in Marshall ,Texas. As a two year old he was in race training until he injured a tendon. He was sent to the 6666 ranch to recooperate and was ridden by Phil Fox of the 6666 to gather mares and foals. Rusty has the best disposition and as Phil says is a "slick young athlete with a powerful race horse pedigree." His sire is the great Mr Jess Perry and his dam Rusty's Quickid has over $80,000 earnings and produce earnings of over $1,000,000 in racing. He is a 16.2 hands 1300 lb gentle giant.
