One Hytime, or Jordy, is as the perfect combination of performance and pleasure! This gorgeous mare is a finished cutter, with show pen experience with riders ranging from novice high school students to Open guys. She's extremely consistent. She was trained in Richard Jordan’s elite program. She has club cutting earnings and has qualified high school rodeo cutters for Nationals. Jordy is low-headed, really takes control of a cow, and easy to cut on.
Outside of the cutting pen, Jordy has a great handle in the arena. She lopes pretty circles with a low head and a loose rein, stops, has a cute turnaround, and is a great stopper. She’s got a great sidepass and is easy to open gates on, has drug the log and roped the sled, and would be great in the Versatility. She has been used to gather big country, sort, load trucks, and has been branded on. She has a big, country-covering trot that really eats up the miles. I’ve also used her out on the trails, ridden her in lakes and rivers bareback, and generally enjoyed having her around. She has a big motor, and while she’s gentle and trustworthy, a timid rider may not enjoy her outside as much as they would in the arena. She also has professional modeling experience in a Schaefer Outfitter photoshoot!
Jordy is great to catch, easy to haul, and sweet to be around. She enjoys attention, loads, shoes, and bathes with no issues. Jordy is totally sound with no maintenance–I keep her barefoot most of the time. Clean x-rays available. Novice cutters have ridden and enjoyed her, and in the arena, I think she’d be a great fit for all levels of riders. I’ve owned her for about a year and it’s been an absolute joy!
