“On The Brink Of Ten” - 2019 AQHA Mare - 14.3 Hands

Elite pedigree, real-world experience, and true versatility define “Biscuit”! This is a mare that represents the kind of quality and substance demanded in today’s horse market. Biscuit is built right with the balance, bone, and athleticism to handle a full day’s work while maintaining the refinement and presence to shine in the arena. She is sired by a son of Straight Stylish—an NCHA money earner of over $100,000 and a proven sire whose offspring have gone on to earn millions in cutting and cow horse competitions. On the bottom side, she carries the influence of Maxi Lena, one of the industry’s most respected foundation sires, known for producing durable, gritty individuals with exceptional cow sense, with offspring earnings also reaching into the millions. The strength of this pedigree is evident in Biscuit’s natural ability, mind, and work ethic. Biscuit is the kind of mare who has truly been there and done that. She has been used extensively in feedlots and on large ranch operations, doctoring countless head of cattle in big wheat pastures, loading trucks, and branding calves. She is seasoned, confident, and dependable in demanding situations—exactly the kind of horse you want underneath you when there’s a job to be done. In the arena, she is exceptionally broke with a strong reining foundation. Biscuit is soft, collected, and responsive, always staying light in the bridle with a willing, trainable attitude. She rides with ease and consistency, making her suitable for a wide range of riders while still offering the feel and handle that experienced horsemen appreciate. She has been started correctly and patiently in the heeling, showing natural rate, timing, and a big stop. Her athleticism and cow sense give her the tools to excel not only as a heel horse, but also as a standout breakaway prospect—making her a versatile addition to any performance program. What truly sets Biscuit apart is her disposition. She is extremely user-friendly, gentle, and safe for riders of all levels. Whether in the arena, out on the ranch, or navigating the mountains and trails, she is steady, confident, and enjoyable every step of the way. She is also a pleasure to manage—easy to haul, bathe, clip, and shoe, and she gets along well with other horses. Her kind nature and great personality make her a barn favorite and a horse people genuinely enjoy being around. Biscuit offers a rare combination of elite, money-earning bloodlines, proven ranch experience, and performance potential. Mares of this caliber who are capable, consistent, and bred to perform are increasingly hard to find. Biscuit is ready to go on and excel in any direction!
