“Wild Night” - 2016 AQHA Gelding - 15.1 Hands

“Panda” is a proven ranch horse with an elite cow horse pedigree! He is seasoned, versatile, and as dependable as they come. Substance, experience, and true usability define this gelding. Panda offers the ideal combination of size, strength, and balance—making him well suited for a long day’s work while remaining comfortable and easy to ride. He is a certified ranch horse who has made his living doing real work. He has been used extensively to doctor cattle in large wheat pastures, brand calves, and handle all aspects of ranching duties. He is no stranger to a full day’s work and meets every task with confidence, grit, and a willing attitude. In the arena, Panda is very broke. He stays soft, responsive, and light in the bridle. He is easy to operate, making him extremely user-friendly for a wide range of riders while still offering the feel and handle that experienced horsemen appreciate. He has also been hauled as a switch-ender rope horse, adding another dimension of versatility and proving his ability to perform under pressure in competitive environments. Outside the arena, Panda is as reliable as they come. He is safe and seasoned on busy streets, comfortable traveling through town, and has experienced some of the most scenic and demanding trail terrain in the country. He is steady, confident, and enjoyable wherever you take him. He is equally a pleasure to have in the barn. Panda hauls well, stands quietly for the farrier, and is easy to bathe and handle. He gets along well with other horses and carries himself with the kind of quiet, gentlemanly disposition that makes him a favorite to be around. Panda offers a rare combination of proven ranch experience, arena performance, and elite cow horse pedigree. Geldings of this caliber—seasoned, versatile, and bred to perform—are always in high demand! Panda is ready to step in and go to work for his next owner, no matter the job.

PEDIGREE
Panda is backed by a pedigree rich in some of the most influential names in the cutting horse industry. He is sired by Mr Peppys Freckles, a son of the legendary Freckles Playboy—an NCHA Hall of Fame sire with lifetime earnings exceeding $59,000 and offspring earnings surpassing $28 million. On the bottom side, Panda is out of a mare by Smart Little Lena, one of the most iconic sires in Quarter Horse history, with over $700,000 in lifetime earnings and offspring earnings exceeding an incredible $40 million. This powerful combination of bloodlines is synonymous with elite cow sense, trainability, and lasting performance, all of which are clearly reflected in Panda’s natural ability and disposition.
