This is a very rare, collector saddle custom made by Olsen-Nolte in San Francisco.

Completely Floral Hand Tooled, 15 ½ in. ¾ Inlaid Padded Seat, Double Rigged, Visalia Stirrups.

Well cared for, it is in excellent condition …. no flaws or blems.

Olsen-Nolte Saddles are known for their superior custom quality. Al Nolte was born in Los Angeles

but grew up in San Francisco where he apprenticed at Main & Winchester. Subsequently Al went to work

for Visalia's Dave Walker but grew restless and moved to Denver to work with the saddleries of JH Wilson

and Herman Heiser. Al returned to the SF Bay Area and partnered with businessman John E. Olsen to form Olsen-Nolte
