Eric Magby along with his wife Buffy work out of Brown XL Ranch located in Wilburton, Oklahoma.  He is currently the resident trainer for owner Spanky Brown but is also able to take horses for the public.  Eric began his showing career in the youth and amateur classes then after he graduated from high school in 2003 he turned in his card to train professionally and went to work for Mackie Hursh. He has worked for many trainers including his biggest influence, Boyd Rice. Lloyd Cox has also been a huge influence. Both Lloyd and Boyd have helped Eric so much over the years in and out of the show pen.  Included in his most recent accomplishments he was a finalist in the Derby Open at the Brazos Bash along with being the Limited Open Derby Champion!
