LTE $496,678 - 2024 NRHA L4 & L3 Open Futurity Champion - Highest earning 3-year-old Western Performance Horse of All-Time

The Firemen burst onto the reining scene in 2024, making history as the NRHA Level 4 Open Futurity Champion with Kaci O'Rourke with a score of 229, and securing both the L4 and L3 titles in the same year. His performance established him as the highest-earning 3-year-old western performance horse in history, and today his lifetime earnings stand at $465,623, ranking him among the sport’s all-time leading money earners.

Bred by Tamarack Ranch and owned by Peter and Courtney Morgan, The Firemen represents a powerful cross of performance and proven bloodlines. He is by Inferno Sixty Six, NRHA’s youngest $4 million sire, and out of Redhot Walla, a successful show mare and producer of more than $900,000 in offspring earnings. This pedigree brings together two of the strongest sire and dam lines in modern reining.

“The Firemen is truly one of the most complete horses I’ve ever seen — he has the athleticism, the eye appeal, and the mind to be a breed-shaping stallion,” said Melanie Smith, founder of Solo Select. “We are honored to stand him and to launch a breeder incentive program that rewards those who believe in his future.”

The Firemen enters stud in 2026 at Solo Select with a first-of-its-kind $150,000 Breeders Incentive, designed to directly benefit those who choose to breed to him and use Solo Select’s recipient mares. With a record-setting show career, elite pedigree, and rare temperament, The Firemen is poised to carry his winning legacy into the breeding shed and define the next generation of reining excellence.
