 Steve (DONT BAK DOWN) is a 2017 gelding sired by DONT LOOK BAK (bred & trained by Phil Rapp), an own son of legendary

*DUAL REY (PE $44M+) and the all time leading NCHA money earning mare,

*DONT LOOK TWICE (LTE $850,682; PE $682,000+) and a full brother to,

*DONT STOPP BELIEVIN (LTE $463,926, PE $2M+, Open Super Stakes Co-Champion, 2018 AQHA Reserve World Champion Sr Cutting)

 Steve is the 2021 NVRHA National Championship Open Reserve Grand Champion.

 Raised and trained by Ricky Quinn Ricky Quinn Clinics, he is the ideal gelding for anyone interested in either approaching or improving showing in Versatility (Notice to Open) or Cow Horse (Novice to Non Pro).

 In the last 18 months Steve was trained by Robert Scott Moreland Moreland Horses, LLC and has been my personal horse performing in the SHTX shows in Texas, L1 Novice.

 Steve can do any maneuver at any level of difficulty, as he easily adjusts to the rider's level. He's as relaxed at a new show in a new venue as he is at home. 

 He was brought up on a ranch, plenty of real roping and cattle handling experience.

 He's 100% safe 100% of the time, but ready as a Navy Seal when you ask him to step up. Incredibly friendly and easygoing, low maintenance, travels like a pro, easy to shoe & to groom. He's been ridden in the bridle for over a year and he's as comfortable in the hackamore.

 It was not an easy decision to rehome him, but I will be missing this show season for personal reasons and it's not fair to him to just hang around, he loves his job.

  A show-home is preferred, but a great home is a must.
