Spirit was bred and raised by Singleton Ranches, he is sired by DUALWITHME, a son of DUAL PEP, and out of SCR NITRO CAT, by TIMBER CAT 101, another Singleton Ranches stud. Dam Sire is COWSTRUCK from Lindy Burch's Oxbow Ranch, $38k LTE, $413k OE.

His pedigree reflects the strength and legacy of true American ranch bloodlines and he is eligible for the AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenges and related incentives.

Spirit has been with us since he was a yearling. Started under saddle and trained by Robert Moreland at Moreland Horses. He has been lightly shown in the SHTX, both the Junior Open and the Novice. He has worked both flag and cows. He rides in both a hackamore and a snaffle bit. 

Spirit has a natural collection, and the most elegant and comfortable lope. 100% sound, well-bred, well-started, well trained, and carrying the Singleton stamp of quality, Spirit represents a rare opportunity to own a gelding in his prime, with proven genetics and authentic ranch foundation.

Because of my business commitments, Spirit has not been ridden in 2025, and has spent the year grazing in the pastures. A new owner would need to accommodate time to bring him back to work. This is fully reflected in the sale price.

PS Spirit is an exceptionally sensitive and responsive horse, qualities that make him truly special. He has never shown any dangerous behavior and has never bucked. However, he is not suited for beginners and needs constant pasture access.  He thrives with a confident, balanced rider who uses light hands and subtle leg cues. Depending on the rider’s experience, partnering with a trainer at the start could be a wise step to ensure a smooth transition.
